Clare Grace is ONE!

     On May 4th, Clare Grace Moran had her first birthday!  Mom threw her a wonderful little party.  We had some of our friends over and Mamaw and Papaw came down from Virginia. The party was Minnie Mouse themed.  It was adorable!  Clare couldn't had been in a more perfect mood at her party.  She was all smiles and was talking a ton.  She is a wonderful sister.

I am so thankful for Clare.  I am also thankful that God gave her a healthy, problem free first year.  I hope Clare has a wonderful second year of life.  I love you Clare!

Good Buddies!

     Clare is precious!  I love her so much.  I am amazed at how smart she is.  Whenever the phone rings she will put her hand to her head and say, "hello".  

She also loves our dog Sophie.  She will go to our glass back door and put her face to it and say "kitty" and point to Sophie.  We have a cat also, named Maggie, who Clare loves as well and Mom taught Clare to say kitty whenever they were petting Maggie.  Clare decided to call both Maggie and Sophie "kitty".  Clare loves when we let her play on the deck with Sophie.  Sophie also loves the attention and she is good around Clare.  Clare will pull Sophie's hair and pet her a little too hard sometimes but Sophie just lays there and lets her touch her.  She is a very sweet dog!

Growing Up So Fast

     Clare is growing up so fast!  She is already 11 months old and mom is planning her first birthday party!  It seems just like yesterday that we went to the hospital to wait for her to be born.  She is crawling all over the place getting into everything.  She is also talking a little.  She is adorable!

     Last night mom was making Clare laugh so hard.  I was upstairs and I could hear her laughing.

     I love Clare so much and I hope she doesn't grow up too fast.  I thank God for giving her to us each day.

     It seems like my little Clare Bear is growing up so fast.  I can't believe she will be 3 months soon.  She is getting bigger, and smarter.  I love it when we start talking to her and all of a sudden she gives us a huge grin.  She is sooo cute.

I like this picture because our family is doing devotion and so is Clare.

Olivia is a great big sister to Clare. She loves her very much.  Olivia has not been jealous at all.  She is very proud of Clare and loves when they can dress alike.

 

Clare is Eli's little buddy.  Eli is always talking and singing about "his" Clare. 

This picture is hilarious.  Ethan was holding Clare last night and we saw this and we had to take a picture.  Look at that little foot! ( Clare's not Ethan's. His foot is not little. He wears a size 13 shoe.)

I thank God every day for Clare.  We prayed for many months that God would give us a healthy baby and He did.  Clare is one of the best little sisters ever!  Thank you God!

Mom's best friends from Knoxville came down Saturday and Mom was so happy.  I'm really glad they came to visit.  They all had a great time.
