WE LOVE CAMPING!

Here are a few pictures from a recent camping trip.  We went to Stone Mountain, in Georgia.  We stayed  two nights and had a great time!!  The campground was beautiful.  It was our first time to go to Stone Mountain and we loved it!  Here is a picture of our site....
We were right on the water.
My favorite part of the trip was spending time as a family. This is a picture of us doing family devotion.
Mom is still learning how to cook on a camp stove.  It may look burnt but it tasted delicious.  (blueberry pancakes and bacon!)

My mom made all of our meals on the camp stove or campfire. They were great!!

The camp ground had a big pool!  We had a bunch of fun!
We also did some fishing.  Nic made a rod out of string and a stick. AND HE CAUGHT A FISH.  Ethan and I had real rods and weren't able to catch anything.  Nic was a good example of perseverance in that he kept trying to catch something and did not give up.
Camping was fun but it wore us out!  Here is Eli, exhausted!

(Dad trying to get all of the air out of the air mattress.)

I'm so thankful for my family!

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!  For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.  In His hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are His also.  The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the the dry land.  Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our maker!  For He is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
Psalm 95:1-7

  1. This looks like you all had a blast! We love to camp as well. Maybe we can try to do that together sometime. We love Stone Mountain. Did you get to see the laser show at night? If you get a chance, you need to. We hope to see you all soon.
