Isn't She Cute?

It seems like my little Clare Bear is growing up so fast.  I can't believe she will be 3 months soon.  She is getting bigger, and smarter.  I love it when we start talking to her and all of a sudden she gives us a huge grin.  She is sooo cute.

I like this picture because our family is doing devotion and so is Clare.

Olivia is a great big sister to Clare. She loves her very much.  Olivia has not been jealous at all.  She is very proud of Clare and loves when they can dress alike.

Clare is Eli's little buddy.  Eli is always talking and singing about "his" Clare.

This picture is hilarious.  Ethan was holding Clare last night and we saw this and we had to take a picture.  Look at that little foot! ( Clare's not Ethan's. His foot is not little. He wears a size 13 shoe.)

I thank God every day for Clare.  We prayed for many months that God would give us a healthy baby and He did.  Clare is one of the best little sisters ever!  Thank you God!

Mom's best friends from Knoxville came down Saturday and Mom was so happy.  I'm really glad they came to visit.  They all had a great time.

2 TIMOTHY 2:22

Quite often my Dad assigns my brothers and I a verse to memorize.  Here is one is from last week.

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the name of the Lord from a pure heart.  2 Timothy 2:22

We need to flee our youthful passions, which can mean a passion for sports, money, electronics, and so on.  We need to go after righteousness, which is holy living.  Trying to live like Christ.  We need to have faith, and we need to live like we believe what the Bible says is true.  Christians should love one another and Christians should want to get along with each other.

How are we to keep our hearts pure?  By asking God to forgive us each time we sin.  (That doesn't mean just to say ,''please forgive me God'' and go on and keep sinning.)

We need to try to live as the Bible tells us to live.  If we live according to this verse then we are doing that.  I'm glad my Dad picked this verse out for us.  This may be my new life verse.

Stand firm!

Late Night At The Pool

We've been having such fun since moving to our new house.  Friday night my brothers and I went to the pool to swim.  We got to the pool about 7 p.m. and thought we would swim for just a little while.  About 8 p.m. I called my Mom and asked her if we should come home.  She said we could stay as long as we wanted.  I asked her if she or Dad could come up to the pool and bring us sandwiches.  She said, "maybe".  I got back into the pool and a few minutes later Dad, Olivia and Eli showed up with a bag full of sandwiches, chips and soda.  Mom had packed us a mini picnic and we were thrilled.  We ate right away. (because swimming can make you hungry.)  After we ate, we swam for another hour or so.  We had a blast.  We were the only ones there the whole night.  I thought we would have to leave after it got dark but Ethan found a switch that turned the lights on so we got to swim after dark.  I wish I would have thought to bring my camera.  Right before we left I said,  "I need to take pictures for the blog".  I took a couple of pictures using mine and Ethan's cell phones.

I love it here!  I am so happy we moved to Ooltewah!!
